Rhonda Church was born in 1964 in County Derry and still lives and works there, although receiving no formal artistic training in her youth she was greatly influenced by the early 20th century European and Irish artists such as Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir, Yeats, Henry, Craig, Dan ONeill and Geard Dillon. When she eventually felt confident enough to exhibit her work it was met with immediate acclaim. In Rhonda's paintings, shadow and light play an essential role as does the beauty seen in every day objects and figures. Rhonda has had several sell out one woman shows and her work hangs in collections all around the world including USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, UK, and Ireland. Hide artist description
